My soul lights up as I bring you my first French residential retreat. May 13th-20th 2024. This week away will fully embrace the real meaning of a retreat, a chance for you to disconnect from the outer world and reconnect with your inner world!
Our venue for the week is La Borde Blanque in Montbel, France and is situated on the crest of a hill with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. It has a private lakeside beach on the beautiful Lac de Montbel, with clear and clean water where we will enjoy lakeside meditations and lake swims. The 12 acre estate in the foothills of the Pyrenees is defined on one side by the natural boundary of the river Hers where we will talk meditative river walks and on the on the other side is the lake and a neighboring forest, where we will immerse in nature and enjoy forest walks and forest bathing. There are old pilgrim routes through the varied landscape offering us numerous opportunities for hiking. La Borde Blanque aim to be ecologically friendly and sustainable. On the property there is a natural spring, from where the natural mineral water for the property is attained and they use solar panels to provide almost all of their energy.
Who is this retreat for? Everyone and anyone who feels drawn to it. No experience or special interest is necessary.
